A Romania-bound Legend Airlines flight carrying 303 Indians, initially grounded in France over human trafficking concerns, landed in Mumbai early Tuesday, as reported by AFP.

French authorities approved the departure after legal formalities were completed, per CNN-News18. Indian authorities expressed gratitude for the “quick resolution.” The Airbus A340 was detained in Vatry airport, east of Paris, with suspicions of trafficking victims.

The flight, from Dubai to Nicaragua, faced immigration law violation probes. According to News18, the passengers, predominantly from Punjab and Gujarat, aimed to enter the US via Nicaragua.
